How we started…

Red Haul Express started in 1989 when Joe & Julie Mattos bought their first truck out of the desire to start their own business upon recognizing the need for a Lowbed service in the area. Since then Red Haul express has grown and contracted with the local construction market over the years.

With the right tools and enough experience, just about anything can be moved. Owner and driver Joe Mattos brought years of experience and knowledge to the table in his approach to heavy haul transportation. He once said “No stuff…too tough…” in response to a customer’s skeptical request to have a machine moved. The tag line stuck!

As of February 1, 2022 Garit Wallace and Amber Anderson took over the company from previous owners, Joe and Julie Mattos. Since then, Red Haul has expanded on the one truck operation to currently working five trucks and 8 trailers. By establishing a great team and providing the right tools to provide excellent service to our customers, we thank the Mattos for what they started 34 years ago and look forward to continuing the Red Haul way.
